Nov. 12th, 2010 11:23 pmHe really hadn't intended for the Garchomp he'd given Giovanni to attack him, that much he'd been honest about. If anything, the incident could potentially hurt his own plans almost as much as if he'd outright attacked the man himself. Cipher needed Team Rocket's cooperation for their plan to work, and the 'weapons' backfiring this early in the game would not help matters.
So at the northern edge of Azimuth Plain Nascour stood and waited for the leader of Team Rocket, decked out in clothes that, for once, didn't make him look like he was a Darkrai in human shape. Better to set a good impression, something that wasn't so easy with his normal appearance. If nothing else, he looked decidedly less threatening, which was what he needed.

"It seems as though you forgot to give me a rather important bit of information," said Giovanni, his irritation present in his voice.

"Yes, I did, and I assure you as I did your subordinate that you being attacked was not my intention." He frowned.

"Garchomp, calm down."

Satisfied, Nascour allowed himself a slight smirk. "It's inevitable that it'll happen again, but the same method will always work."

It wasn't meant to happen, and I know this puts a rather large dent in the possibility of collaboration." Regardless, he would still try. Cipher was more or less in shambles at the moment, so to succeed, they'd need the aid of Team Rocket.
"That said, I do hope you will still consider it."
